What is your background?
I studied painting at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Film at NYU, then started a career in documentary filmmaking in New York City. I soon realized the city life was not for me. After time in Aspen and in Rockport Maine I came to Vermont for a seasonal television job in the ski industry and never left. I have run my own video production business, Madmotion, llc., since 1996. I started Tweed River Video specifically for wedding video work in 2003. In addition to weddings I continue to work in documentary, commercial and sports video production and design.

Since 1992.

Favorite downtime activity:
I love spending time with my two young boys and my husband. We play in the river, the sand, and in winter we ski.

What do you enjoy about the Vermont wedding industry?
I have found that couples marrying here in Vermont like to make weddings their own, and that allows me as a videographer to be more creative. I love meeting new people and learning new things, and I do at every wedding. For me every wedding is different, and every video is it's own unique documentary. I enjoy watching happy people and capturing beautiful natural mements, and many of the couples I've worked with love Vermont as much as I do.
